Cloud Pak for Data OADP backup and restore utility installation tasks

Complete the following tasks to install the IBM® Cloud Pak for Data OpenShift® APIs for Data Protection (OADP) backup and restore utility.

You must be a Red Hat® OpenShift project administrator to install the Cloud Pak for Data OADP backup and restore utility.

1. Download the cpd-cli command line utility and various backup and restore scripts and files for IBM Cloud Pak for Data 4.0.x from the IBM cpd-cli GitHub repository.
   • Go to the releases page to get the latest cpd-cli 10.0.x version for Cloud Pak for Data 4.0.x.
   • The backup and restore scripts and files are located in child directories of: https://github.com/IBM/cpd-cli/tree/master/cpdops.
2. Install OADP.

   The Cloud Pak for Data OADP backup and restore utility supports the official Red Hat 1.0 operator.

3. Configure cpd-cli oadp.
4. Create two volume snapshot classes for Ceph® CSI snapshots.
