What's New in IBM OMEGAMON for CICS TG

The following updates are available in IBM OMEGAMON for CICS Transaction Gateway (CICS TG).

IBM Z OMEGAMON for CICS TG now collects Gateway Daemon Memory statistics. This allows you to monitor memory usage in CICS Transaction Gateway so you can generate alerts before Out-Of-Memory exceptions occur. It also allows you to collect the history of memory usage in your CICS TG regions, which is useful for trending and capacity planning.
The Region Overview workspace, in the Enhanced 3270 User Interface (e3270UI), has been tabularised, and new Memory tab is introduced, with subpanels for Native Memory Statistics, JVM Memory Statistics, and 64-bit Memory Statistics.

The CICS TGRegion Overview workspace can now handle data returned from a version 5.3.0 agent. In previous releases, this workspace was not able to return data from a 5.3.0 agent. No user action is required to take advantage of this enhancement.
