Work Orders application

The Work Orders application is a modernized, simplified version of the Work Order Tracking application that contains the most important actions and information for work orders. It also contains workflow assignment integration, a new status bar, the ability to organize work orders into custom views, and productivity features, such as type-ahead search.

Overview

Similar to the Work Order Tracking application, you can use the Work Orders application to:
  • Create work orders.
  • Create follow-up work orders.
  • View information about each work order, such as its long description, related records, work log, attachments, and history.
  • Change the status of a work order.
  • Change the owner or owner group of a work order.
  • View work order resources like labor, craft, crew, assignment, items and materials, tools, services from the Plans menu in an existing work order.
  • Create, edit, delete, and change the status of tasks.
  • View task-level details of responsibility, craft and crew type, assignment, items and materials, tools, services for each task in a work order.
The Work Orders application is also integrated with the workflow process. If a workflow is available for a work order, you can start the workflow on the Work orders list page or from the Actions menu or the Workflow assignments section of the work order details page.
