Electronic signature properties
Electronic signature authentication confirms that a person who modifies a record is the same person who logged in to the system. You can use the system properties to manage the electronic signature feature for your organization.
The following table shows the electronic signature properties and their default values:

When set to 1, it uses Maximo Application Suite local user credentials. Otherwise, it uses the Maximo Manage electronic signature passkey. Administrators must set the value to 1 to enable the property, only after checking that the respective users have a local Maximo Application Suite user account. | 0 |
