Installing WebSphere Automation
You can install WebSphere Automation on Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform (OCP) 4.17, 4.16, 4.14, or 4.12 on Linux® x86_64 or Linux on IBM Z platform.
Before you begin
WebSphere Automation version 1.8.0 runs on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.17 , 4.16 , 4.14 , or 4.12 . WebSphere Automation can be installed on any platform that has a supported version of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform installed and that meets all other prerequisites, such as Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Service on IBM Cloud (ROKS) and Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
Prepare the environment and then install WebSphere Automation with
the Red Hat OpenShift console or CLI. If your environment is not
connected to an outside network, you can install WebSphere Automation
in an air gap environment, although the operation of the product is not supported in an air gap
environment. Use OpenShift CLI (oc
) commands
to validate the installation.
