Defining intercommunication resources
In an intercommunication environment, you create resources that define the links to other systems, and local definitions of remote resources.
Defining connections to remote systems tells
you how to define links to remote systems. The links described are:
- MRO links to other CICS® regions
- MRO links for use by the external CICS interface
- IP interconnectivity (IPIC) links for use with distributed program link
- Multi-session APPC links to other APPC systems (CICS or non-CICS)
- Single-session APPC links to APPC terminals
- LUTYPE6.1 links to IMS systems.
