Replication log server connections to the storage array
In the sample configuration, each replication log server host has two single-port SAS HBA connections. One port is connected to Controller A and the other to Controller B to form a resilient SAS topology to the storage array subsystem.
Connect to the ports as
follows:
- Connect an SAS cable from the HBA card in Server 1 host PCI slot 2 to the SAS Link 1 port on Controller B in the storage array. Connect an SAS cable from the HBA card in Server 2 host PCI slot 2 to the SAS Link 1 port on Controller B in the storage array.
- Connect an SAS cable from the HBA card in Server 1 host PCI slot 5 to the SAS Link 1 port on Controller A in the storage array. Connect an SAS cable from the HBA card in Server 2 host PCI slot 5 to the SAS Link 1 port on Controller B in the storage array.

Host 2 HBA 1 | Controller A Port 2 |
