Configuring two-factor authentication

You need to setup a two-factor authentication settings to establish a connection to the Radius server to allow Rational® Directory Server users to connect to Radius server.

Procedure

  1. In the console tree, click Configuration and then click the Security Configuration.
  2. In the Two Factor Authentication Configuration tab, type the following details:
    1. Hostname/IP Address: Type the hostname or IP address of the Radius server.
    2. Port Number: Type the port number of the Radius server. Default port is 1812.
    3. Shared Key: Type the security key given at the time of Radius Server installation.
  3. Optionally, you can also configure the default Windows System Domain for the Radius server. To configure the default Windows System Domain:
    1. Click Windows Default Domain Configuration tab.
    2. Type the domain name in the Default Domain Name field.
    3. Click Submit.

Results

After the security settings are configured, you can enable two-factor authentication to Rational Directory Server users to allow them to connect to Radius server.
