Reserved Formatting Marks

Formatting marks in the contract language and clause template language are used for integrating with Word.

Precautions for using reserved formatting marks

Adding, deleting, or moving reserved marks causes data corruption and leads to failure in Word integration. You must ensure that you do not modify the reserved formatting marks while modifying the contract or clause template language.

To view all the formatting marks in the contract language, go to Word Options > Display, and select the All Formatting Marks option.
