Managing reference data

Reference data comprise bank data (including SWIFTNet address information), country data and currency data. You can manage them using the AO Facility Reference Data component (see Reference Data).

Note: This activity requires that you have at least one role that grants the minimum access rights for the Reference Data component, as described in Table 1.
To manage reference data entities:
  1. Select Reference Data from the navigation pane to expand further options.
  2. Depending on the reference data type you want to work with, select the corresponding item from the navigation subtree to open the dedicated pane:
    • Bank Data
    • Country Data
    • Currency Data
    Actions in the dedicated panes can be invoked by selecting the corresponding entity from the list and then either selecting the action from the pop-up menu or clicking the corresponding button in the toolbar. All actions, except for New, can also be invoked from the dialog that is used to show the details of a reference data record (see Open details for reference data).

    For a new record or a record with pending changes, the new or changed information is displayed grayed out.

Note: If the approval process for reference data is disabled, any modification to a reference data record will be approved automatically.
