Cabling for 9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME with one system node
Use this information to cable the 9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME with one system node in the configuration.
The following indexed diagrams help you understand port-to-port cabling between components in a configuration that has one system node. Use these diagrams with the tables that follow. To avoid connection issues, use the specified length of cable for each connection.
Figure 1. System node 1 to system control unit cabling
Cable number | Cable type | From: (U-Loc) | To: (U-Loc) |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 1.0 m (3.28 ft) global flexible service processor (GFSP) cable | U2: P1-C9-T2 | U3: P1-C7-T2 |
2 | 0.33 m (1.08 ft) universal power interconnect (UPIC) cable | U2: P1-C9-T1 | U3: P1-C2-T1 |
3 | Clock flex cable (D1L) | U2: P1-T7 | U3: P1-C8-T2 |
4 | Clock flex cable (D1R) | U2: P1-T8 | U3: P1-C9-T1 |
5 | 0.33 m (1.08 ft) UPIC cable | U2: P1-C10-T1 | U3: P1-C5-T1 |
6 | 1.0 m (3.28 ft) GFSP cable | U2: P1-C10-T2 | U3: P1-C10-T2 |
Note: U2 is system node 1
and U3 is system control unit.
