Multi-page document continuous scroll feature support
Multi-page documents can now be scrolled continuously without hitting a page boundary.
Horizontal and vertical scroll bars are available in the main document viewing area. The scroll
bars provide a visual indication of the displayed page position in relation to the entire document.
This feature comes with a more seamless navigation experience as it prefetches pages ahead and
behind the current viewing location. Pages are prefetched each time there is a brief pause in
scrolling. The quick navigate view
bar, previously available on the right of the main
document viewing area, has been removed and replaced by a vertical scroll bar.
For IBM Datacap Navigator, problem pages in the Classify and Verify clients are also given to the
viewer to use as prefetch pages. This allows for faster navigation of problem pages using the
Next Problem and Previous Problem
buttons.
Note: Limitation: When continuously clicking on zoom out or zoom in on a page, the
viewer might jump from that page to another, and this change will be seen in both the viewer and
Batch Structure. Ignore this behavior and continue with other processing as there is no solution
available for this problem.
