Setting Up Data Extraction Schedule

You can schedule the data extraction date and time by setting up the data extraction schedule.

Procedure

To set a schedule for data extraction, complete the following steps:

Log on to Emptoris Sourcing as the Content Manager.
On the Utilities menu, click Admin > Dashboard > Dashboard Setup.
On the Dashboard Schedule page, select the frequency of data extraction.

Results

After you schedule the data extraction process, the data is extracted locally at the scheduled date and time. After all the data is extracted to the local folder it is sent through FTPS at the designated location.

Note: If the location where the data is extracted already contains data extracted at an earlier date, the old data is overwritten by the new data.
