Notices Overview
In Emptoris Sourcing, the Notices module contains forms which you can use to create public procurement notices. These forms are prescribed by the Official Journal of European Union (OJEU). As per the directives of the European Union, all contracts from Public Sector over a certain value must be published.
You can fill and submit the forms to Tenders Electronic Daily, which is the online version of the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). It lists all current Prior Information Notices (PINs), ITT (Invitations to Tender), Contract notices, etc.
Types of Notices
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Prior Information Notice(PIN) | After the buyer organization identifies the public work and the cost involved and if the cost is beyond a certain value, it publishes the work as a Prior Information Notice. |
| Contract Notice | Invitations to tender for public works, services, and supply contracts are published as a Contract Notice. Suppliers can go through them and give their responses. |
| Contract Award Notice | After the suppliers submit their responses, the contract is awarded and published as a Contract Award Notice. |
| Corrigendum Notice | Notice for adding or updating information in a notice that is submitted earlier to Tenders Electronic Daily (TED). |
