Logging in for project administrators and team leads (web)

To create and modify project areas, team areas, and process templates in the web client, you must first login by using one of the following procedures.

Accessing project areas from the application

  1. Point your web browser to one of the following URLs:
    • Change and Configuration Management application: https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/ccm/web
    • Global Configuration Management application: https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/gc/web
    • Quality Management application: https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/qm/web/console
    • IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Engineering Insights application: https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/relm/web
    • Requirements Management application: https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/rm/web
    Remember: The [fully qualified hostname] is the host name along with the DNS domain reference of the machine on which the Jazz® Team Server is installed. For example, if the fully qualified hostname is elmwb.example.com, you will find the server administration page at https://elmwb.example.com:9443/jts/admin
  2. Enter the User ID and Password and click Log In.
  3. You can click a link to an existing project area and then click Administration icon, the Administration icon, and select Manage This Project Area. Alternatively, you can select Manage Project Areas or Manage Templates.

Accessing project areas from the application administration page

  1. Point your web browser to https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/application/admin. For example, for the Change and Configuration Management application: https://myhost:9443/ccm/admin.
  2. Enter the User ID and Password and click Log In.
  3. Click the Project Areas tab to go to the Project Areas page, or click the Templates tab to go to the Templates page.

Accessing project areas from the Jazz Team Server administration page

You can use this option only if you have JazzAdmins or JazzProjectAdmins repository group permissions.
  1. Point your web browser to https://[fully qualified hostname]:port-number/jts/admin.
  2. The Jazz Team Server login page appears. Enter the User ID and Password of the administrative user and click Log In.
  3. The Welcome to the Jazz Team Server Administration Home page opens. Scroll to the Application Administration section, which includes sections for Change and Configuration Management, Quality Management, and Requirements Management. Click the Project Areas link to go to the Project Areas page for the application that you want to work in. Click the Templates link to go to the Templates page for the application that you want to work in.
