Configuring SSH keys

SSH keys enable identification between an SFTP client and SFTP server with SSH public key authentication. Use SSH Keys to add and configure SSH keys.

You can add three kinds of keys to B2B Advanced Communications to secure your communications:

Private and public host key pair

You can add a private and public host key pair for each SFTP host server in your system. SSH private and public key pairs are necessary to send and receive files from your configured SFTP host servers.

Trading partner public key

You can add a public key for your trading partner. An SSH public key ensures your trading partner's identity and enables your partner to receive and decrypt files in an SFTP exchange.

Known host key
You can add a known host key from your trading partner. An SSH known host key ensures your identity to a trading partner and enables encryption and sending files in an SFTP exchange.
