Configuring Content Collector for SAP Applications

The configuration settings for the component is recorded and stored in the YAML file you created.

About this task

Use the iccsap_configuration section of the YAML file to provide values for the configuration. For more information about setting these values, see Content Collector for SAP Applications parameters.

Procedure

  1. Open the YAML file that you created in the OpenShift console or by Option 1: (Recommended) Generating the custom resource with the deployment script.
  2. Ensure that the values mentioned in the YAML are appropriate for your deployment. If you need more configuration parameters, use the fully customizable Content Collector for SAP Applications template to copy the lines and paste them into your YAML file.

What to do next

You can configure multiple server instances of Content Collector for SAP Applications in different namespaces to manage different configurations or separate groups of applications. An instance of the IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation operator must be installed in each namespace. Consider the following information as you record the values for your deployment environment in the custom resource file: Configuring Content Collector for SAP Applications.
