Notifications and suggestions allow you to stay informed and take action on important business situations when they arise.

Setting up alerts
As a dashboard owner, when creating Period KPI charts, you can actively monitor your business data by setting up and editing alerts. An alert is a notification that you receive when your business data reaches, surpasses, or does not reach a business threshold. Alarms can be sent to a predefined Kafka topic whenever a new alert is detected. The Kafka topic can be then consumed, for example to process or forward the alerts.
Defining targets
You can add targets to KPI charts and period KPI charts. Targets help you measure and assess goal achievement.
Workforce Insights suggestions for improving processes
Suggestions surface helpful information about how you can improve the performance of processes and workforce performance in Business Automation Workflow.
Finding goals and dashboards
As your business monitoring activity grows, your lists of dashboards and of goals eventually spread over several pages. Use the search field to find them quickly.
Changing the monitoring source in several charts
You can simultaneously change the monitoring source of several charts in the same dashboard.
