Enabling and configuring BCC in the organization settings

After Support enables BCC for your organization, you must configure your organizational settings to designate an email address to receive the copied emails.

About this task

Complete the following steps to enable and configure BCC in your organizational settings.

Note: You must enter an email address in the organization settings to be able to add a custom email address for BCC in the database settings.

Procedure

  1. Go to Settings > Administration > Orgnization settings. Expand Mailing Settings.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter the email address that is designated to receive blind copies. If an email address is not selected at the contact source level, all BCC emails are sent to this address.
  4. Select Enable Default BCC Email Address. This default setting applies to new databases.
    Note: You need to configure Contact Source settings to use a different BCC email address.
  5. Click Save.

Results

After BCC is enabled, the Maximum Soft Bounce Retries setting is disabled. If you attempt to enter a value greater than 0 in this field, you receive an error message.
