Testing a mapping in the Graphical Data Mapping tool

To test mapping in the Graphical Data Mapping tool, take the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Prepare the input XML file.
  2. Open the data map file with the Mapping Editor.
  3. Click on the Associate XML files icon in the Mapping Editor to associate the sample input XML files that you have created with the map.
  4. Save any open data maps and build the project to ensure all required XSL files are up to date.
  5. Click on the Test Map icon in the Mapping Editor to run the map against the associated XML files.
