Modifying a group definition

Use the Modify line command to edit an existing group definition.

About this task

The Modify line command is available only for group definitions that are not yet promoted. You cannot edit a promoted group.
Note: Group definitions that are not promoted are identified by ZD, prefixed to the member name.

Procedure

Complete the following steps to modify a group definition:

  1. On the Manage Group Members panel, place an M next to the group definition that you want to modify and press Enter.
    The group definition is then displayed in a standard TSO Edit panel.
  2. Modify the group definition.
  3. After you edit the group definition, enter the SAVE command, or press PF3.
