Installing Content Platform Engine files on your client computer

The installation program installs the Content Platform Engine files on your client computer that can communicate with Content Platform Engine server.

About this task

Run the client installation program that communicates directly with the Content Platform Engine server.

When you install your FileNet® P8 system, you install these client files on your computer.

Procedure

  1. Open Content Platform Engine Client. Follow the sequence of installation steps.
  2. Click Done when the installation is complete. You might get some warning messages, see the installation log file for details.
    If you are using Process Engine clients, see WCMAPIConfig.properties file for specifying CE URL for Process Engine client applications.
