Task in progress
The Task in Progress cube shows the number of tasks in process. The Task in Progress cube contains the following dimensions and measures.

Tasks that have completed or failed and then restarted are defined as restarted tasks. When tasks are restarted, the values for the measure of the restarted tasks are accumulated for the current in-progress iteration only.
| Measure | Description |

| Task count | The number of tasks currently in progress. Restarted tasks that are in the current in-progress iteration are counted. |
| Average wait time (in hours or days) | The average number of hours or days that tasks in the current in-progress iteration have been in the wait state. A task in a wait state is dependant on another item or task to complete before the task can continue. |
| Average ready time (in hours or days) | The average number of hours or days that tasks in the current in-progress iteration have been in the ready state. A task in a ready state is ready to begin; however, the task is waiting for either a process to start it automatically or for user intervention to manually start the task. |
| Average processing time (in hours or days) | The average number of hours or days that tasks in the current in-progress iteration have been in process. |
| Average failed time (in hours or days) | The average number of hours or days that tasks in the current in-progress iteration have been in a failed state. Failed indicates that the processing of the task stopped and requires user intervention for the task to continue towards completion. |
