Levels of bundle definition

A bundle definition is composed of the following levels of information, listed in the order in which they are defined:

  1. Basic information that applies to the bundle as a whole
  2. A list of the bundle recipients to receive one or more reports in the bundle
  3. For each bundle recipient, a list of the reports that the recipient is to receive

When you define a bundle, you first specify the basic bundle information at the top of the Bundle Detail panel, including a unique bundle name. After you save this information to the database, you can add one or more recipients to the bundle. After you save the basic information for a recipient at the top of the Bundle Recipient Detail panel, you can select the reports that the recipient is to receive.

At each level of the bundle definition you can specify a banner page. Depending on the level to which a banner is linked, the banner is referred to as a bundle banner (a banner that is linked to the basic bundle definition), a bundle recipient banner (a banner that is linked to a bundle recipient), or a bundle report banner (a banner that is linked to a bundle report definition). For more information, see Bundle banners.
