The 1.3 release of faspio Gateway introduces a new licensing model. These notes also list system requirements, supported platforms, and known issues.

BREAKING CHANGES

If you are upgrading from a previous release, the following changes in this release may require you to adjust your workflow, configuration, or usage.

Aspera/faspio#526 - The faspio Gateway now requires a license to use the Gateway in server mode. The Gateway can still be used as a client without a license.

IBM Aspera Gateway 1.3 is supported on these OS platforms running on a machine using any of the listed processor architectures:

PER-LICENSE LIMITS

Maximum total per-process aggregate bandwidth (in and out traffic combined) 2.5 Gbps

Maximum number of concurrent sessions per gateway 20 sessions per gateway
