Error condition: Backup fails with the following FailedValidation error

The backup fails with the following FailedValidation error and the namespace contains encrypted Ceph RBD PVC in Block volume mode:

There was an error when processing the job in the Transaction Manager service. The underlying error was:
Found unsupported PVC: encrypted Ceph RBD PVC in Block volume mode cannot be safely restored <namespace/pvc>. Only Filesystem volumeMode is supported with encrypted Ceph RBD volumes

Delete encrypted Ceph RBD PVC in Block volume mode from the namespace. Use Filesystem volume mode for encrypted Ceph RBD PVCs.

Note: LUKS (Linux Unified Key Setup) encrypted Ceph RBD PVC with Block volume mode are not supported. LUKS (Linux Unified Key Setup) encrypted Ceph RBD PVC with Filesystem volume mode are supported.

In general for these processing errors, collect Backup and restore logs logs and contact IBM support .
