Using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer
When you have completed the HTML document, you can test it by uploading it on the server, and opening it with Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
If you use the same directory structure on the Web server and on your local file system, and if you have stored the visualizer libraries locally on your computer, you can test the HTML document by opening it in your Web browser. You do not need to go to the Web server.
Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer do not include the Java™ Runtime Environment Version 1.4 or higher. Therefore you must use Sun's Java Plug-in. This requires a different syntax. For more information, see the Java Plug-in Developer Guide at Sun Developer Network.
In the Java 2 SDK Version 1.4 or higher, Sun provides an HTML converter. Before uploading the HTML document to the Web server, you must use the HTML converter to convert HTML documents that are written for Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to HTML documents that can be opened with Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. You can find information about how to use the HTML converter also in the Java Plug-in Developer Guide at the website above.
To download Sun's SDK, go to Java SE Downloads.
