Print window

Use to print the document you are viewing. You can print all of the document you are viewing, print the current page, or print selected pages. You can also use this window to print the note or notes you are viewing.

You can open the Print window by selecting File > Print, from the toolbar by choosing the Print button, or from the Notes window by clicking Print Note or Print All Notes. To quickly open the Print window, choose the Generate/arsw0037.gif toolbar button.

When printing notes, Content Manager OnDemand only prints notes to a Local printer in the Portrait orientation with All as the Pages choice.

Available options include:
Printer
  • Local. Use to print the pages you have selected using a printer that is attached to your PC. Choose the down arrow to list the printers that have been defined. Select the Setup command button to display the Properties window for the selected printer.
  • Server. Use to print or fax the document or pages on a printer or fax machine that is attached to your Server. When you select Server, the Print window changes.
Margins in inches
When you print to a local printer, you can specify the margins for the printed page in inches. You can specify a top, bottom, left, or right margin. By default all margins are set to 0.5 inch. If you change the margins, Content Manager OnDemand displays your changes the next time you use the print window.
Orientation
When you print to a local printer, you have the following choices for the orientation of the printed page:
Best Fit
Content Manager OnDemand automatically prints the narrow side of the displayed page on the narrow side of the printer paper. Regardless of the way a page is displayed, Content Manager OnDemand adjusts the displayed page so it prints optimally on the paper in the printer you select when Best Fit is selected. This is the default.
Portrait
Use to print with the page taller than it is wide when you view the printed page upright.
Landscape
Use to print with the page wider than it is tall when you view the printed page upright.
Use Printer Setting
Use to print the page with the printer settings you specified with the Page Setup command on the File menu or the Setup command button on the Print window.
Pages
  • All Pages: Use to print all the pages of the open file.
  • Current Page: Use to print only the displayed page.
  • Selected Pages: Use to print one or more pages. After you choose Selected Pages, choose Select to display the Selected Pages window and specify the pages you want to print.
Copies
Use the Copies box to enter the number of copies you want to print. The maximum number of copies you can print is 9999.

Use to print the selected pages.
Cancel
Use to close the Print window without printing any pages.

Use to display help about the Print window.
