Aligning Rows

One of the remaining tasks in formatting the print form is to align the fields, labels, and static text. First, you align the items in rows to give the form a consistent appearance. You align the items in columns.

Use this procedure to align the fields, field labels, and static text by row (horizontally).

  1. Select the following labels and static text and select Display > Align Controls > Top.
    • Line
    • Code
    • Qty
    • Price
    • Requested
    • Ship No
  2. Select the following labels and static text and select Display > Align Controls > Top.
    • No.
    • Prod ID
    • Type
    • Ord
    • Unit
    • Each
    • Ship Date
    • Later
  3. Select all the separating lines between column headings and fields. Then select Display > Align Controls > Top.
  4. Select the following fields and select Display > Align Controls > Top.
    • Line No.
    • Prod ID
    • Code Type
    • Qty Ord
    • Unit
    • Price Each
    • Requested Ship Date
    • Ship No Later
