Business Volume Report

Business managers occasionally need to track the number of sales or the amount of revenue generated by a particular seller.

The Business Volume Report provides visibility into the number of sales and the amount of revenue generated during a specific period of time. Figure 1 shows a sample of the Business Volume Report. For each day within a specific time period, a graph displays the number of orders and order lines processed. Another graph shows the revenue earned for each day. The sum of the total amount of sales orders for each day determines the earned revenue. This report only includes the non-draft sales orders for an enterprise whose order date falls within the specified date range.

The Business Volume Report should be run at night, during a period of light load.
