Cabling for 9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME with two system nodes

Use this information to cable the 9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME with two system nodes in the configuration.

When you cable the 9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME with two system nodes in the configuration, you must connect the system nodes to each other, and you must connect each system node to the system control unit.

The following indexed diagrams help you understand port-to-port cabling between components in a configuration that has two system nodes. Use these diagrams with the tables that follow. To avoid connection issues, use the specified length of cable for each connection.

Notes:
  • U2 is system node 1 and U4 is system node 2.
  • Some 1.25 m SMP cables have labels at each end of the cable that indicate the length of the cable. The labels can be used during installation to distinguish the 1.25 m cable from the 1.5 m cable. The labels are not visible after the cable is installed.
