It is 8:00 when I arrive at the RDM Campus in the communal room of the of the Delta Design Marathon. Ts is where it’s all happening, this is the
the epicentre. But is’s quietness all over. When I take a better look I see some teams in deep concentration, surrounded by post its, whiteboards, empty cups and breadcrumbs. In other rooms, teammembers are taking a nap, on a stretcher or on the floor. What’s the status, with four hours to go? What are the teams staying up for anyway? Is it fame, money? Let’s find out. First, coffee.
