Replacement System Service
Fast recovery
An IT disaster (fire, theft, vandalism, hw/sw problem…) can cut off the IT systems for a long period of time, and the economic consequences are often major. Fast recovery of the IT-systems is important to limit the damages.

IBM Replacement System Service is built in modules with 3 elements:
Recovery plan
IBM delivers a draft proposal for a basic recovery plan. The proposal can serve as an inspiration or frame for your IT recovery plan.
Recovery exercise
With IBM Recovery Service you get access to test your backup and restore procedures in IBM Recovery Center. Your recovery exercise can be decisive for a successful use of a Recovery System in case of disaster.
Recovery
If your covered systems suffer a disaster, you will have access to a Recovery System. When IBM receives your invocation call, we will start the procedure for transportation of a Recovery System to your backup address. The Recovery System will be delivered as soon as in 6 hours. After the installation you can start recovering your programs and data with assistance from an IBM technician. The Recovery System can be installed at your backup-address until IBM can deliver a replacement system.

The price for IBM Replacement System Service is based on the agreed Recovery System.
