IBM Q Open House Event

Quantum Computing is here

Maybe not yet as a mainstream computing platform, but in the case of IBM Q as a useful and stable platform for everyone to use. It is working, toolkits are ready and YOU can actually get access though IBM Cloud.

On April 3rd, 2019, we want to present to you how far we have come with IBM Q. Demonstrate the toolkits, let you work with IBM Q in hands-on labs but first and foremost, we want to inspire you. We want you to think about how quantum computing can find use within your field.

With the ever increasing complexity and scale of some of the most challenging computer tasks of the future, quantum computing will become an essential addition to the High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms as we know them today. At the event, we will also dig into the state of IBM’s current and leading HPC platforms, with the #1 and #2 fastest supercomputers in the world according to Top500, and discuss how HPC and Quantum computing will co-exist to bring new capabilities of problem solving to even the most complex modeling and analysis tasks of the future

Additional details and registration:

For this event, we were looking for a state-of-the-art venue, and we found that in the new Biosphere building at DTU. A stunning and appropriate venue for a whole day event focusing entirely on the computing platform of the future as well as HPC to bridge the gap until we are really there.

We bring in some of the worlds top notch quantum computing researchers and we will hear how IDC see quantum computing evolve.

We want you to be part of this event, so please take a look at the detailed agenda and enroll!

In case you want to jump ahead and start exploring and programming with our Quantum offerings TODAY, check out the IBM Quantum Experience page.

Private cloud or public cloud? New server technology offers more choice

In September, we launched the new IBM Power E1080 high-end server, for corporate use based on the  new Power10 architecture, the Power E1080. The server can – among many other things – handle a large number of applications and workloads securely, at scale and with highest availability. Going into the spring of 2022, we will […]
