The GSE Nordic Region Conference – Speak Up!

Share this post:

The next GSE Nordic Region Conference will take place in Aarhus, Denmark, from June 11th to 13th 2019. The Steering Committee have scheduled a planning meeting on December 4th to 5th 2018, to do the detailed planning.

We already have some very interesting topics planned, but we still need some contributions from you. Speakers with real experience are the most popular during the conference. You are all doing a great job with the IBM family of database, transaction and messaging and infrastructure products on the mainframe platform out there. Please, consider what you can do for the conference and your colleagues in the Nordic region.

In order to encourage user experience presentations we have added an incentive of 2.000 DKK per user presentation, that will be deducted from the conference fee.

The GSE Nordic Region Conference is a technical conference, and it is now the primary venue in the Nordic area to learn about new technologies on the mainframe platform and particularly how to use them in your daily professional life. The majority of the participants have a technical background from mainframe, including Architects, System Programmers, Technical Support, Application Developers, Capacity and Performance, etc.

The content of the presentations should be aligned to the overall themes on all tracks (Application Development, CICS, Db2, General Interest, IMS and Mainframe Infrastructure) within areas such as Performance, Continuous Delivery, Scalability and Cloud, Best Practices, Optimisation of setup and workflow, Security and Enterprise Architecture.

Take a look at the GSE Nordic Website, where the full Call For Papers” can be found for inspiration.

In order for us to have the best opportunity to build the 2019 conference we ask you to respond to this “call for papers”and participate with presentations offering the best value to our attendees, and at the same time contribute to an exciting conference before November 20th 2018.

We can help you developing your presentation and be your guide during the whole process, if you wish.

If you think you can share some of your experience with us please contact either of:
