Cognitive means how to you use existing information to create new knowledge.
This is exactly what Mjölner informatics has done with Watson Analytics. Together with Seges – the danish farmers knowledge center – they used Watson Analytic as the tool in a workshop where they have explored the huge amount of data from the different organizations within Seges. This was to find answers to questions they have not been able to find with the traditional analytic tools.
This gives them the ability to answer questions like:
- How does climate and temperature effect the amount of cells in the milk?
- What impact does it have on the profits on milk production?
