New, free of charge courses on IBM Robotic Process Automation with WDG

We are pleased to announce the availability of five new web-based training courses on IBM Robotic Process Automation with WDG. This no-cost education was developed by the WDG Training group under Marcela Taveira Flauzino and is now hosted by IBM.

The video lessons in these courses cover the installation of WDG automation and demonstrate how to create high value bots to accelerate an organization’s productivity. Advanced courses on implementing solutions with IBM Robotic Process Automation with WDG will be released and added to the web link below in late October.

This content is available to IBM Clients, Business Partners, and IBMers.

The following courses are now available:

Installing WDG Automation (course DL35001G) teaches you how to install WDG Automation and its features. It explains the prerequisites, installation types (Interface and Command Line), and proxy configuration. You also learn how to address possible problems that may occur in this process. Course topics include pre-installation, installation, complementary information, and troubleshooting.

WDG Automation Studio Basic I (course DL35002G) introduces you to WDG Automation Studio and teaches you basic tasks such as inserting commands, publishing scripts, controlling the flow of a script, using variables, manipulating files, collection, text manipulation, and using routines. Course topics include publishing, repository and revision control, basic commands and variables, advanced commands, and routines.

WDG Automation Studio – Basic II (course DL35003G) is a continuation of the Basic I course, demonstrating more in-depth and essential concepts for the programmer within the WDG resources. Course topics include assets, parameters, PDFs, data tables, and databases.

WDG Automation Studio – Intermediate I (course DL35004G) covers more complex features of WDG Automation Studio for the development of more robust and complete bots. Course topics include automation of web pages, automation of Windows systems, and manipulation of e-mail.

WDG Automation Studio – Intermediate II (course DL35005G) is a continuation of the Intermediate I course, and introduces more complex concepts to help you make your script more complete. Course topics resilience and error handling, called scripts, and vaults.

At the end of each course, there is a test to obtain a certificate.
