IBM Center for Cloud Training expands its ecosystem

Share this post:

The reach of IBM training for cloud is expanding to as many as 40 million learners. That’s the number of people who participate in learning activities offered by edX, the latest partner to join the IBM Center for Cloud Training (ICCT) ecosystem.

Our award-winning ICCT training and certification has arrived at edX. And it begins with the IBM Cloud Professional Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) curriculum.

The Site Reliability Engineer is a vital role to lead and drive changes to team processes and culture, and is very much in demand. In fact, LinkedIn ranked SRE as #5 among 15 top job titles in its 2020 Emerging Jobs Report, with 34 percent annual job growth.

With the arrival of the IBM Cloud Professional SRE curriculum at edX, technical professionals seeking to change or accelerate their careers now have another venue where they can gain the skills, tools, experience, and confidence to prepare for the IBM Cloud Professional Site Reliability Engineer certification.

Learners in the IBM Cloud SRE training program at edX will build the skills to work independently to maintain their organization’s cloud runtime availability, improve system reliability, and apply modern designs for lasting cloud solutions. And, upon completion of the program, learners will have the essential skills and knowledge to confidently take the IBM Cloud SRE certification exam.
