A new Getting Started with IBM Cloud learning path from IBM Center for Cloud Training offers no-cost access to approximately 30 hours of introductory training. Hands-on labs help learners gain cloud experience and confidence.
Courses in the learning path are designed for all job roles. There are no prerequisites. Learners gain an understanding of cloud foundation and IBM Cloud topics.
Courses in the learning path are:
- Introduction to Cloud – Learn core concepts of cloud computing, cloud architecture components, and some real-world applications of cloud computing.
- IBM Cloud Essentials – Get a solid introduction to IBM Cloud services, their ideal use-cases, and real-world applications across industry verticals.
- IBM Cloud Essentials: Hands-On Labs – Gain experience with key topics presented in the IBM Cloud Essentials course by completing IBM Cloud hands-on labs.
- Introduction to Containers, Kubernetes and OpenShift – Learn about the role of containers and related cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Building Cloud-Native and Multicloud Applications – Learn to make decisions about application migration and enterprise modernization in Cloud-Native and multicloud environments.
Each course can be completed in less than a day. After completing these courses, learners will be prepared for their first IBM Cloud certification exam, IBM Cloud Solution Advisor.
