Mr. Martinho started his career as a ebusiness consultant, working in Java projects with specialization in Websphere for mainframe, after he was invited to belong to the Europe Labs for this technology in Montpellier France, working as a consultant. After this, he worked in Portugal inside the same area of specialization inside the software group, until being invited to be the executive assistant for the European VP for Software. After this he stayed as Tivoli Automation leader for Southwest Europe (Portugal, Spain, Israel, Turkey, Greece, France, Italy & Benelux). After that experience, he came to Portugal to lead the Software group, moving after to S&D as a global markets leader with one year break to another foreign experience in Spain as global technology services sales leader. After this year he returned to the IBM Portugal Board until he became IBM Portugal general manager and president of the board.
