Dr. Elli Androulaki
Distinguished Engineer in IBM Research
Dr. Elli Androulaki is a Distinguished Research Staff Member and Manager at IBM Research-Zurich in the area of Blockchain Security. She is co-leading IBM Blockchain Research strategy globally. Elli completed her PhD in Columbia University, NY, on eCommerce privacy, while during her Postdoc at ETH Zurich she co-invented the first security attack in Bitcoin. Elli joined IBM Research in May 2013, and shortly after, became the technical lead of IBM contributions to security and privacy components of Hyperledger Fabric, becoming one of the HLF architects. Her recent work focused on new HLF features including token exchange and decentralised identity enablement.
