Dr. Nicholas Garrett is the CEO at RCS Global Group, the globally leading provider of technology-backed mine to market audit, advisory and training services enabling the responsible sourcing of battery metals and raw materials. He has dedicated more than a decade in the sector towards promoting a responsible, climate conscious, low carbon future. His core focus remains on driving positive social and environmental impact through technological innovation and the promotion of responsible practices in the sourcing, trading and production of raw materials. He holds a PhD from the Freie Universität, Berlin, where he wrote his dissertation on the “conflict minerals” issue in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He also has an MSc in International Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
