Benjamin T. Brillat
Benjamin is a Senior Technical Staff Member in IBM's Global Network Services team, focused on Private LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi. He is responsible for developing the technical solutions and reference architectures to provide wireless network services to corporate campuses, hospitals, mines, factories, stadiums, retailers, and more. He is also responsible for educating and enabling the in-country local IBM delivery teams around the world with the assets and training which they need to successfully deliver these projects. Prior to this role, Benjamin was the Chief Technology Architect on the Atlanta Falcons' Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This $1.6 Billion stadium hosts NFL Football and MLS Soccer events in a state-of-the-art facility. At this project, IBM served as the "IT Prime Contractor", responsible for end-to-end success of the network - from the physical conduit and fiber optic cabling through system integration, configuration, test, and go-live. The Wi-Fi network at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium was ranked #1 in the NFL for the 2019-2020 season! Ben is a 19-year IBMer, and holds a degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer in Troy, NY and is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Emeritus. He currently resides in Milton, Pennsylvania with his wife and 4-year-old son.
