We are thrilled to announce the expansion of the RISE with SAP, premium supplier option.

As clients continue to explore and adopt hybrid cloud strategies, migrating mission-critical workloads and applications that are essential to their business operations to a modernized mix of on-premises and public cloud solutions can be a daunting task that requires a very reliable and secure infrastructure.

Today, we are excited to announce the expansion of our previously announced RISE with SAP, premium supplier option to now include IBM Power™.

What is RISE with SAP, premium supplier option?

RISE with SAP, premium supplier option builds on the RISE with SAP market momentum and the BREAKTHROUGH with IBM portfolio of solutions and consulting services announced previously. IBM’s premium supplier option offers our clients the choice of a single partner — IBM — to manage everything within RISE with SAP, from software, support and infrastructure (IBM Power in IBM Cloud) to technical managed services. In addition, IBM can also provide options for advisory, implementation and application management services. Currently, only IBM can provide this simplified engagement model with a single point of accountability for our clients.

The RISE with SAP, premium supplier option with Power provides clients with world-class service, leveraging a unique delivery approach with a focus on strategic outcomes and unlocking exponential value. Specifically, the premium supplier option is designed to deliver the following:

  • Accelerated deployment and time to value of mission-critical, on-premises SAP ERP workloads on Power on-premises to the IBM Cloud, with a simplified, consistent experience. According to IDC, IBM Cloud allows clients to accelerate time to value with the least migration time amongst other hyperscalers [1]. Platform Engineering Automation and Services provide world class rapid provisioning of SAP clusters on Power running on IBM Cloud.
  • Maximized uptime and run solutions with resiliency and security on Power infrastructure designed to meet or exceed SLAs with best-in-class server reliability (99.999% uptime) for the past 13 years, according to ITIC. Protect data from core to cloud with built in security from processor, firmware, hypervisor, OS that works in conjunction with IBM Cloud security.
  • Continuous innovation that allows you to grow and scale with granular increments up to 22.5TB on Power based on business demands. You can also optimize business processes with continuous insights, value-driven advisory services and an adoption approach tailored to our clients’ needs. This is combined with next-generation, Gartner #1-ranked SAP Managed Services for AI-enabled maintenance and continuous innovation at scale.
