IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.7 is now listed on the (Amazon Web Services) Marketplace.

We all know that IBM Maximo® is the market leader in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software, enabling our clients to monitor, manage and maintain physical assets in a single solution and streamline their global operations. Now, we are expanding our ability to support these increasingly global operations by extending our partnership strategy. This will ensure we are where our customers are by developing partnerships that help clients simplify and expand their use of IBM Maximo.

Today, the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8.7 is listed on AWS (Amazon Web Services) Marketplace with a BYOL (Bring Your Own License) offering. Additionally, IBM and AWS will automate the install process, resulting in the ability to deploy Maximo Application Suite on AWS within a couple of hours. Plus, AWS Customers can take advantage of their committed Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) by purchasing the associated infrastructure required to operate the Maximo Application Suite software from the Marketplace itself.

About IBM Maximo Application Suite

This is a major milestone in the 18-month journey Maximo went through to integrate its standalone applications (like Monitor, Health, Visual Inspection) into a cohesive single suite of applications. This integration enhances our capabilities within the Asset Management, Performance Management, Configuration and Maintenance Management domains to better support asset-intensive industries in this increasingly digital era.

The consolidated solution is the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Applications within the suite are infused with AI capabilities that deliver visibility and actionable insights to dispersed assets, helping customers to transform their business with this intelligent EAM product.

We also built MAS to be a hybrid cloud solution that can be deployed on-premises at the customers’ data center or in any cloud using Red Hat OpenShift’s run-anywhere model. This enables customers’ EAM solution to coexist within the same cloud as their other business-critical enterprise workloads, makes scalability simpler and will facilitate innovating with third-party solutions and data. This move improves IBM’s ability to help our clients position themselves as leaders in their industries.
