After May 27, 2022, all IBM Cloud Databases for Redis instances on version 4.0 that are still active will be upgraded in-place to the next major version, Redis 5.0.

This will be done according to our Database Versioning Policy. Users are expected to either be on Redis version 5.0 or 6.0 after the EOL date.
