Action required before February 22, 2023, for your PostgreSQL 10 deployments.
After February 22, 2023, all IBM Cloud Databases for PostgreSQL instances on version 10 that are still active will be disabled.
Users are expected to either be on PostgreSQL version 11 or get the latest preferred version of IBM Cloud Databases for PostgreSQL with all the great features added to versions 12, 13 and 14. To upgrade to the latest PostgreSQL version, customers do not have to upgrade their database through the major preceding versions. For example, customers can upgrade their PostgreSQL 10 database straight to PostgreSQL 12, 13 or 14.
IBM Cloud Databases for PostgreSQL v14 is the “Preferred” version, and we highly recommend our customers choose the “Preferred” version.
Customers can upgrade their database instances using the following documentation.
