What if you could control what’s displayed on the IBM Cloud dashboard to be relevant to your daily work flows?
We listened to what you were looking for, and we delivered this functionality for you.
Today, we’re excited to announce that you can now customize your dashboard in the IBM Cloud console by choosing which widgets are displayed. Customizing your dashboard includes the ability to do the following:
- Add widgets
- Remove widgets
- Rearrange the order of widgets
How to customize the dashboard
To illustrate how customizing your dashboard works, let’s say you want to view and track the Kubernetes clusters that you recently created. Click Customize > Add widgets to open the Widgets pane, and drag the Kubernetes widget to your dashboard.
Want to remove widgets that don’t apply to your workflow? You can clean up your dashboard by clicking the X icon that’s located in the upper-right corner of each widget. Don’t worry, you aren’t deleting the widget; it’s now located in the Widgets pane.
Let’s say tracking the usage details of your platform services is a top priority for you. You want these details to be displayed at the top of your dashboard, but you currently have to scroll to find the Usage widget. No problem. Simply grab the widget to move it to the top of your dashboard.
When you’re happy with your changes, click Done customizing to update your dashboard.
