Question & Answer
Question
How should you refer to the CCRC WAN server when connecting to it?
Answer
To connect web or automatic views to the CCRC WAN server, always refer to the server in the same way. For example, if you first connected to a server using a fully qualified domain name, always use the fully qualified domain name to connect to that server. If you connected to the server by referring to a port number, always use that form of address when connecting to that server. This guideline is applicable whether you access your views through the ClearTeam Explorer GUI or through the rcleartool command facility.
