How do I modify a ClearCase 8.0.1.8 installation to add automatic view support?

After modifying a ClearCase 8.0.1.8 installation to add automatic view support, complete the following procedure. Note that the procedure assumes installation on a 32-bit system and that programs are installed in the default location. Modify the procedure as appropriate for 64-bit systems and nondefault installation locations.

  1. Open the filet C:\Program Files\IBM\RationalSDLC\ClearCase\web\installRviewServer.jacl.
  2. Modify the procedure "proc getClearCaseHome {}" to change
    return "CC_HOME"
    to
    return "C:/Program Files/IBM/RationalSDLC/clearcase"
  3. Execute the command,
    "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\wsadmin" -f installRviewServer.jacl
  4. Modify C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\Plugins\config\webserver1\plugin-cfg.xml to add the following lines after the ccrc entry:
    <Uri AffinityCookie="JSESSIONID"
                AffinityURLIdentifier="jsessionid" Name="/rview/*"/>

Modify the 8.0.1.8 installation to remove the ClearCase Remote client (CCRC) and the automatic view WAN server, then modify the installation again to add both of them back again.
